Komunikator Kadu 0.6.5.4 ze wsparciem dla sieci gadu-gadu 8 i 10 został dziś wydany. Najważniejsze zmiany, które są częścią tego wydania: długie opisy z możliwością wpisania do 255 znaków, nowe statusy “Chętny do rozmowy” oraz “Nie przeszkadzać”, możliwość kontaktu z użytkownikami z nowej puli numerów dla sieci gadu-gadu (tzw. długie numery), naprawione zostało wysyłanie obrazków naprawione zostało wysyłanie smsów przez bramkę Plus GSM.
Pakiety instalacyjne komunikatora Kadu dostępne są dla Linuksa, Mac OS X, Windowsa i Haiku OS w dziale Pobierz.
Pakiety instalacyjne dla Linuksa dostępne są już dziś dla dystrybucji: Ubuntu, Debian, openSUSE i Mandriva, pozostałe dystrybucje będą dostępne wkrótce.
Pozostałe wybrane usprawnienia w tej wersji:
- zostało dodane wsparcie dla systemu Maemo (Nokia N900) i
zaawansowani użytkownicy mogą skompilować Kadu na Maemo - wszelkie komunikaty są wyświetlane teraz na środku ekranu a

rozmowy w jednym oknie - po otwarciu okna “Rozpocznij rozmowę z…” focus ustawia się
automatycznie w polu tekstowym - zostało naprawione działanie modułu Profiles pod Mac OS X.
- Poprawiony został błąd w pozycjonowaniu okna rozmowy z nową
osobą pod Windows - naprawione zostało wykrywanie zestawów ikon, emotek i dźwięków
w ścieżce użytkownika dla systemu Windows - historia otwiera się z powrotem na ostatniej rozmowie z
kontaktem, wyszukiwanie w historii rozpoczyna się od aktualnie
przeglądanego dnia - dodany został nowy moduły – Dbus oraz pajacyk
- zawijanie zbyt długich słów w oknie rozmowy
- moduł Spellchecker skorzysta z Enchant zamiast Aspell’a jeśli

Mam nadzieję, że w Archu będzie szybciej niż nigdy. (Któregoś nie było, albo trzeba było bardzo długo czekać. 0.6.5.2).
W Archu? Chyba masz jakiś rzadko aktualizowany mirror, bo u mnie się nowe wersje pojawiały momentalnie.
możliwe, ostatnio przy okazji tej dużej aktualizacji związanej z libjpeg i libpng, gdy nowe pakiety nie pojawiały się przez dwa dni, postanowiłem zmienić na mirror z rodzaju tych bardziej na bieżąco, więc zobaczymy. Jeszcze nie ma
No nie ma. Przydałoby się kogoś powiadomić o nowej wersji, ale kogo i jak? Nie mam pojęcia. Na stronie Archa nawet e-maila do tworzących paczki nie ujrzymy(mimo, że nick twórcy wyświetla)…
Otoz strona Archa posiada taki sprytny mechanizm, za pomoca ktorego mozemy oznaczyc "przestarzale" paczki (flag out-of-date). Osoba, ktora jest opiekunem tej paczki dostanie wowczas maila z powiadomieniem. Na chwile obecna kadu jest oznaczone jako out-of-date, co oznacza ze paczkujacy wie o nowym kadu (a przynajmniej dostal maila z taka informacja).
Boshe… tak trudno zmienić jedną cyferkę w PKGBUILD?
Poza tym w PKGBUILD pisze kto paczkę buduje i adres e-mail tego jegomościa.

My tu mówimy o repozytorium Archa, a nie AUR… a tam nie "pisze"(jest napisane) jaki jest adres e-mail budującego paczkę.
Z tą flagą to racja. Nie zwróciłem na to zbytniej uwagi.
Mniej sie wysilicie zmieniając numer w wersji PKGBUILDa i budując paczkę, a nie biadolicie ;p

bo trzeba czekać na stabilne libgadu 1.9.0 tam to ma byc poprawione
Czyli w libgadu przy obecnym tępię prac będzie to za rok, a potem za kolejny rok lub dwa w mirandzie (o ile ktoś przepisze to z libgadu do api mirandy).
Co „tępisz”? (;
Jak się nie ma do czego przyczepić, to przyczepia się do ortografii, a to po to, ażeby zdyskredytować przeciwnika bez użycia merytorycznych argumentów. Gratulujemy !
Oczywiście Najek trochę przesadza, ale coś na rzeczy jest.
Dla użytkowników OS jak i Apple brak funkcji jest plusem:

Wersja 0.6.6, ktorej testy trwaja na forum Kadu, bedzie obslugiwac Jabbera.Wersja 0.6.5.4 to osatnia only-gg ;]
Dziś rano przyszła aktualizacja kadu do 0.6.5.4 dla mojej dystrybucji – jednak kazała usunąć wszystkie pakiety z 0.6.5.3 (ikony, powerkadu itp).

Dlaczego nie? Zapewne moduły były w odzielnych paczkach, a zaktualizowano tylko samo kadu bez modułów, więc aby zaktualizować kadu musi wyrzucić te moduły. Zwykłe zależności.
Wszystko fajnie tylko to okno statusów wygląda teraz masakrycznie. Wprowadza duży chaos. Mogliby wyeliminować te niepotrzebne moim zdaniem stany: Porozmawiaj ze mną z opisem, Dostępny z opisem, Zaraz wracam z opisem itp. Stworzyć jedno pole "Ustaw opis", a nie teraz naćkane tego wszystkiego zupełnie niepotrzebnie.

Niestety „duże” numery i długie statusy nie działają…
Kadu mnie nie zadowala bo nad jabberem prace tylko są, ale z tego co czytałem to marna obsługa tej sieci jest jak narazie (może już się coś zmieniło – nie testowałem).

Niestety, używając Debiana, trzeba się uzbroić w cierpliwość, lub samemu budować paczki. Ja wybrałem tą drugą opcję.
Przesadzasz trux, już wczoraj wieczorem było nowe Kadu w gałezi Debiana unstable.
Tylko, że ja używam stable
A ja mam nadzieję, że możliwości związane z gg8/gg10 są już w oficjalnym libgadu (tak aby programy inne niż Kadu też mogły na tym skorzystać) i za pewien czas ukaże się Pidgin z elementami obsługi tych protokołów.
Zalezy co masz na mysli.
Zalozylem repozytorium libgadu z ficzerami takimi jak np.: przesylanie plikow przez serwer. Pewnie nie wejda juz do 0.9
Ja zainstalowałem sobie na mincie empathy i wytczke telepathy-sunshine i nie widze lepszego komunikatora. Co do kadu. Jak poprawią wygląd to się może skuszę ale narazie to jest tak wszystko na hura, taki galimatias że tak powiem. Oczywiście nie umniejszając programistom bo i tak kawał dobrej roboty odwalili.
gdzie wy macie te avatary, bo u mnie za cholere ich nie ma oO
bo sobie musisz wlaczyć – ale itak beda sie wyswietlac jak w GG8 czy prostokąty i kwadraty, a nie jak w GG10 – ze wszystko obcinane ładnie do kwadratu.
Mnie ten kilometrowy pasek z listą stanów/statusów dobija. I tak korzystam tylko z 3 (niewidoczny, widoczny, zajęty). Ale resztę zmian oceniam b. pozytywnie – tak trzymać!

a już dłuższej listy ze statusami nie dało się zrobić co? za chwilę będzie trzeba panoramiczny stawiać bokiem żeby status zmienić na kadu bo nikt nie wpadł na pomysł że nie trzeba do każdego statusu robić osobnej pozycji w liście .
