KDE dla Haiku

Mój ukochany systemik. Tylko czekać aż wyjdzie druga alfa.

Wejście z takim zapleczem programów zagwarantuje mu użyteczność (może też popularność) od samego początku.

A mnie zadziwia niesamowity upór programistów haiku ….. To przechodzi wszelkie wyobrażenia może niedługo ten system zacznie się liczyć w skali globalnej patrząc na tych ludzi to jest do osiągnięcia w krótkim czasie …

Przeportowali już Gnome?

Przez Vale i mono może to chyba potrwać dłużej, mam rację?

BeOS a teraz HaikuOS jest naprawdę niezłym systemem i cieszy fakt że tyle będzie programów dostępnych dzięki QT, tylko że brakuje jeszcze gtk.

Ale nie ważne ile było by programów to jednak brak sterowników może zabić każdy system choć HaikuOS dzielnie sobie z tym radzi.

Już się nie mogę doczekać drugiej alfy, mam nadzieję, że to będzie w tym kwartale .

Kompletnym bezsensem jest skupiać się na portowaniu czegoś niepotrzebnego, a KDE akurat potrzebne na Haiku nie jest. Wielokrotnie na kanale ircowym ludzie zwracali uwagę, że przede wszystkim potrzeba natywnych aplikacji. Nie ma sensu robić drugiego Linuxa.

Mnie zaciekawiło w tym repozytorium TiltOS, w którym KDE się znalazło:

Garść informacji: opiekunem TiltOS-a jest Grzegorz Dąbrowski (aka "kaliber"). Ma to być samodzielny system bazujący na Haiku (a więc faktycznie dystrybucja Haiku), a na razie jest po prostu zbiorem oprogramowania przygotowanego za pomocą systemu pakietów "box" wziętego z projektu Pingwinek ( http://home.gna.org/pingwinek/index.po.html ).

Za czasów Atari i nAmigi programy powstawały na zasadzie Open Source? Czy może był to niezły biznes?

Czy to znaczy, że KDE zostało użyte jako menadżer okien i na screenach widać KDE z jakimś BeOSopodobnym stylem wyglądu czy może okna rysuje natywnie co tam Haiku ma a przeportowane zostały same aplikacje znane z KDE?
