Czy ten OCR w Chrome jest na wolnej licencji?

Niestety na razie Polakom raczej się nie przyda, bo nie radzi sobie z ogonkami.

Adobe Reader, najpopularniejszy czytnik plików PDF pod Windowsem nie działa zbyt szybko.

Raz, dwa, chyba (dopiero?) trzeci raz wspomnę o świetnym programie PDF-XChange Viewer, który pozwala między innymi na komentowanie w czy "rysowanie" po PDF-ach. Ja np. nie lubię otwierania PDF-ów w przeglądarce, bo to się często źle kończy, a i daje mniejszą wygodę niż osobne okno stosownego czytnika. W lisku używam PDF Download, a w Chrome'ie i tak mi najpierw ściąga i dopiero potem otwiera evince'a chociażby.

Brakuje informacji o źródle, tj. Built-in PDF Reader for Google Chrome, czy tam protoźródle, tj. Bringing improved PDF support to Google Chrome. Sam jeszcze nie badałem, ale komentarze już mówią, że jest to jeszcze niedopracowane od strony użytkownika. Będę musiał sprawdzić czy to jest do wyłączenia, bo wolę jednak mieć kontrolę gdzie oglądam pliki PDF.

Przecież wersja 9 adobe readera uruchamia się błyskawicznie

Ja ostatnio sobie w Operze używam Google Docs Viewer jako przeglądarki PDF (i: PowerPoint, Word, TIFF) i jestem zadowolony
