Photoshop Express to nowy serwis Adobe pozwalający na przechowywanie, prezentację i edycję zdjęć bezpośrednio z poziomu przeglądarki internetowej.
Jak czytamy na blogu netto:
Photoshop Express to nie tylko edytor zdjęć online, ale także serwis, w którym użytkownicy mogą publikować zdjęcia i dzielić się nimi. serwis jest prosty, ale wykonany bardzo ładnie. [...] Jest tylko jeden problem. okazuje się, że licencja jakiej udziela się firmie Adobe, korzystając z Photoshop Express, oznacza bezterminowe przekazanie tejże firmie wszystkich praw do zdjęć. Nie, nie można się wycofać.
Edytor jest intuicyjny i posiada wiele funkcji. Oczywiście nie można go jednak porównywać z „prawidziwym” Photoshopem, a raczej z programami do szybkiej obróbki jak Picasa. Można m.in. usunąć efekt czerwonych oczu, zastosować retusz, dopasować kontrast i jasność oraz poziom kolorów. Co ważne — aplikacja działa szybko.
Czy to wystarczy do pokonania takich serwisów jak Flickr od Yahoo czy PicasaWeb od Google? Nie wiadomo, ale dodatkowa konkurencja na pewno nie zaszkodzi.

Google mogłoby swoją Picasę przerobić na program webowy. Zestaw funkcji nie jest duży, pewnie dałoby się go zrobić w całości.
Ale po co?
dokładnie, wygodniej jest desktopowo.
Przecież jest PicasaWeb (picasaweb.google.com). 1GB miejsca (jak zawsze można dokupić więcej), podział na albumy, takie tam.
