Nie znalazłem żadnego info o tym wycieku na zagranicznych portalach zatem to może dotyczyć tylko Polaków. Skoro dotyczy tylko nas to winny jest raczej portal Przelewy24.pl.
Nie miałem konta na przelewy24.pl (jeżeli tam zakłada się takowe) lecz miałem je właśnie na moneybookers.com. Nie wiem co o tym sądzić… Trzeba chyba zadzwonić na infolinie do BGIODO.
Ja też nie mam konta na Przelewach ale wiele ludzi na Allegro korzysta z ich usług. Wydaje mi się, że kiedyś płaciłem (i to chyba nie raz) za jakąś aukcję przez Przlewy a to nie wymaga posiadania u nich konta – ważne aby mieć konto w jednym z banków, które obsługują.
I tu dochodzę do wniosku, że ktoś może mieć dane wielu ludzi, którzy posiadają konta w tych bankach. :/
Ja też otrzymałem podobne maile, najpierw sygnowany przez "Bejamin Smith" (w języku angielskim) a dwa dni później (już po polsku) Josh Wasinski. Korzystam dość często z przelewy24, nie mam konta na Moneybookers. Co ciekawe, spam przyszedł na mail'a, którego bardzo rzadko używam, poza kontem bankowym i właśnie przelewy24, ten adres jest niemal wyłącznie używany do korespondencji prywatnej. Do niepewnych stron, mam inny adres, tak na wszelki wypadek, żeby później nie cierpieć z powodu ulotek reklamowych.
Ja też dostałem najpierw maila od Benjamina Smitha (2/02, bez danych adresowych), dwa dni później po polsku od Josha Wasinskiego (4/02, tym razem z adresem). Nie mam konta na Moneybookers, z przelewy24 wydaje mi się że kiedyś korzystałem (chociaż nie pamiętam żebym musiał się rejestrować).
Ja już sprawę zgłosiłem do GIODO, jeszcze na policję się wybiorę prawdopodobnie jutro.

1. adres domowy to nie są dane chronione (tłumaczyłem że inne też mogli zdobyć)
2. policja nie jest władna robić cokolwiek za granicą (chyba że to jakaś duża afera, ale wlecze się to miesiącami i w ogóle panie daj pan spokój)
3. mam im podać winnego (to jest najlepsze)
4. nie, oni nie wiedzą i nie mają narzędzi do sprawdzenia tego
Generalnie wykupuję w Holandii shella piszę skrypty i zaczynam pakować filmy na warezy. Policja w tym państwie to jakaś fikcja.
Mam konto na Moneybookers i nie dostalem (jeszcze) zadnego e-maila. Nigdy jednak nie uzywalem MB do przelewow pieniedzy z/do Polski. Nie zebym ich polecal, wrecz przeciwnie. Zeby odzyskac pochopnie wplacone na swoje konto pieniadze musialem im wyslac kopie chyba wszystkich mozliwych dokumentow.

Dla przykładu jeszcze kilka lat temu znajomy pracował nad projektem w dużym i powszechnie znanym przedsiębiorstwie finansowym, cyrk polegał na tym że każdy miał dostęp do bazy produkcyjnej czyli informacji o klientach i ich sprawach w tamtej organizacji. Na szczęście to się zmieniło, ale w danym momencie każdy mógł wziąć co chciał. Ciężko jest mi więc wierzyć w bezpieczeństwo danych w mniejszych serwisach internetowych.
