Powstało nieoficjalne forum Ubuntu

Miło mi oznajmić, że na prośbę czytelników powstało Forum UbuCentrum.net. Mam nadzieję, że wszyscy zostaną tam wysłuchani z należytym szacunkiem i uzyskają pomoc. Na forum nie będzie póki co żadnych reklam, gdyż żaden z opiekunów nowego forum nie pracuje nad nim dla pieniędzy, chcemy po prostu pomagać.

Kolejną ciekawostką dotyczącą naszego forum jest to, że będziemy się starali przedstawiać jak największą liczbę rozwiązanych problemów z forum na tym blogu w formie artykułów. Myślę, że to wpłynie bardzo pozytywnie na wygodę korzystania z naszych porad przez co łatwiej trafią one do początkujących użytkowników.

Podstawowe kwestie związane z działaniem forum są już załatwione, mamy już stworzone odpowiednie działy i kilku moderatorów. Jeśli będziecie mieli jakiekolwiek obiekcje co do sposobu ich działania, piszcie, będziemy rozpatrywać wszystkie skargi na forum publicznym.

Kolejny krok należy do Was – użytkowników. To właściwie tylko od Was zależy jak rozwinie się forum i czy będzie z niego jakiś pożytek. Zachęcam więc do rejestracji na http://forum.ubucentrum.net/ i aktywnego udziału w życiu strony.

    Liczba głosów potrzebna do wypromowania zmienia się w zależności od liczby niusów ostatnio opublikowanych. W skrócie — im więcej niusów opublikownaych w ostatnich 24 godzinach, tym mniejsze szanse na publikacje kolejnego (i odwrotnie).

    Dokładnie. Czemu wszyscy widzą w tym aluzję do administracji forum.ubuntu.pl? Nie wiem czy dostają czy nie, napisałem tylko że nasi admini nie dostają bo nie robią tego dla kasy. Może rzeczywiście, źle zabrzmiało.
    
    Co do faktu, że powstało to sam nie wiem co z tego wyjdzie. Czytelnicy w komentarzach prosili o forum więc zrobiłem, teraz mogę tylko nad nim czuwać i starać się sprawić by było komuś przydatne.

      A kogo to interesuje czy będą tam reklamy? Forum ma działać jak dla mnie sprawnie i szybko z reklamami czy bez(bo przecież w takich serwisach reklamy sa po to by opłacić hosting). Jak dla mnie aluzja jest jednoznaczna, a ten kto myśli inaczej niech pierwszy rzuci kamień.

      Dlaczego? Z prostego powodu, Twoje wpisy są subiektywne. Tytuł newsa: Forum powróciło, wnioski nie wyciągnięte. Nie jest to obiektywizm, wnioski zostały wyciągnięte: zmiana serwera, powiadomiliśmy o tym. I tak wygląda prawda. Ale jak widać nie wystarcza. Trudno, my nie chcieliśmy ubarwiać, podaliśmy tylko fakt.
      
      Zresztą takie komentarze waszego moderatora – "Oho… widzę, że zazdrośni opiekunowie forum.ubuntu.pl zaczynają atakować 😀 łyso wam co? :D" Chociaż nikt z nas nie odpowiedział w temacie powstania forum, sugeruje pewną niechęć.
      
      Mimo, że sympatii tam nie widzę, życzę powodzenia. jak kilka for bedzie to każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie.

W imieniu wszystkich użytkowników Ubuntu, dziękuję! Na pewno jest to cenna inicjatywa. Nie musi być jedno jedyne, słuszne forum, od przybytku głowa nie boli. W świecie GNU/Linuksa różnorodność jest siłą. Stąd kolejne forum wcale mnie nie martwi, bo rozwiązania, i tak wyszukuje się przez Google.

Chciałbym też, żeby nikt nie odbierał (i żeby tak oczywiście nie było), że to nowe forum jest PRZECIW komuś, tj. forum.ubuntu.pl. Na pewno tamtejsi operatorzy działają w dobrej wierze, choć może czasami jak Linus Torvalds przy przyjmowaniu patchów do Linuksa.

Z osobistych doświadczeń mogę powiedzieć, że kiedyś zadałem moje pierwsze pytanie na ubuntu.forum.pl, ale jako że ledwo zapoznałem się z Ubuntu i był to dla mnie zupełnie obcy świat, w którym poruszałem się w dużej mierze po omacku, pomyliłem sposób numerowania wersji. Więc w temacie wyszło mi nierealnego, np.: Ubuntu 7.06. Mój temat bez wyjaśnień trafił do śmietnika. Jak na pierwszy kontakt ze społecznością, to daję temu forum szkolne 2. Po prostu żadnej cierpliwości i życzliwości, tylko od razu: do kąta! Z kodeksem postępowania i ideałami filozofii Ubuntu tym bardziej nie miało to związku.

Nie jestem przeciwnikiem dbałości o porządek. Są jednak przynajmniej dwa "ale". Po pierwsze, większość tych informacji będzie nieaktualna za rok, dwa, najwyżej trzy. Bo niewiele są dzisiaj warte wątki typu: „Jak zainstalować Javę?” albo „Jak zainstalować 64-bitowego Flasha?” Często użytkownicy piszą kilkadziesiąt postów na temat tego, jak zainstalować sterownik jakiegoś urządzenia, ale po pół roku, z nowym wydaniem Ubuntu, wszystko działa prosto z pudełka, a więc trud społeczności nie idzie na marne, niemniej szybko te informacje przestają być istotne. Cykl życia typowego posta na forum oceniam na 6-18 miesięcy (czyli maks. 3 wydania Ubuntu).

Po drugie i chyba ważniejsze: żeby pisać w sposób uporządkowany, to trzeba znać temat. Postawienie takiej bariery przed początkującym użytkownikiem nie jest dobre, bo on z natury tematu nie zna. Gdyby znał, to by nie pisał. Trzeba szukać kompromisu: pomagajmy nie tylko rozwiązać problem, ale przede wszystkim ZDEFINIOWAĆ problem. Tego drugiego właśnie początkujący użytkownicy nie potrafią. Nie można ich za to dyskwalifikować, bo to naturalne.

Jeżeli podejście na forum.ubuntu.pl jest takie, jakie jest, to tym bardziej popieram forum.ubucentrum.net. Może właśnie takie sprofilowanie forów: średnio i bardziej zaawansowani (forum.ubuntu.pl) vs. początkujący (forum.ubucentrum.net) przyniesie korzyści.

Na koniec życzę wiele sukcesów jednym i drugim. Moim jedynym życzeniem i prośbą jest, aby oba fora zawierały do siebie odnośnik. Czy to realne? 🙂

      Napisałem "w imieniu wszystkich dziękuję za nowe forum" — mój błąd, przyznaję. Nie wszyscy się cieszą, a niektórzy nawet "niedziękują" 🙂
      
      W każdym razie pisałem swoje podziękowania w dobrej wierze, której raczej trudno nie dostrzec. Masz prawo się nie zgadzać, niemniej proszę Cię, żebyś dostrzegał też cudze, dobre intencje i wyrażał swoje odmienne zdanie bez zbędnej, błyskotliwie wyrażonej, dawki złośliwości. Inaczej robi się z tego nic nie wnosząca pyskówka.

    Ja również nie dziękuję i nikogo nie prosiłem o to, by dziękował za mnie. Osobiście jestem przeciwny tworzeniu kolejnych for. Trzeba znaleźć sposób na uporządkowanie jednego, a nie powielać się. Lepsze niż kolejne forum byłoby polskie wiki systemu z wyszczególnionym działem "częste problemy" (powiedzmy sobie szczerze – ile jest przypadków jednostkowych?).

  Znam osobiście wielu użytkowników Ubuntu i wszyscy są przeciwni powstaniu nowego forum. Przypomina mi to sytuację: "Źli ludzie z ubuntu.pl nie poparli powstania mojego bloga, gdzie przepisuję howto z sieci i ich forum, to zrobię własne i ja teraz będę adminem", Albo inny powód niechęci: "Dlaczego oni mają zgodę na wykorzystywanie nazwy ubuntu od Canonical, a my nie" Więc proszę nie generalizować.

  Ogólnie byłem raz na Twoim blogu i niestety muszę powiedzieć że jestem bardzo zawiedziony. Nie tyle co do poziomu merytorycznego wpisów (choć są to podstawy podstaw) ale z jadu przeciwko ubuntu.pl jaki można zauważyć m,in w poście o shakowaniu forum (co z resztą nie było do końca prawdą). Podobna sytuacja z komentarzami na blogu.

  Inna sprawa to użytkownicy forum. Bez sprowadzenia pewnej ilości zaawansowanych użytkowników nic nie zdziałacie. Będzie tylko słodzenie jakie to forum jest piękne
  
  Zamiast mnożyć kolejne byty, lepiej zacząć współtworzyć oficjalną dokumentację. I nie dziwię się, ze nie poparto powstania bloga, skoro istniała już czytelnia.ubuntu.pl
  
  BTW:
  Nie jestem w żaden sposób związany z Ubuntu.pl, Zawsze uzyskałem pomoc (inna sprawa, ze moje tematy nie wyglądały tak; "Mam problem. Nie działa java. Pomoshcie?" – pisownia zamierzona). Ale w tym momencie przestałem odwiedzać to forum. I to nie z powodu moderacji i administracji, ale właśnie setek dublujących się postów (byłoby ich jeszcze więcej gdyby nie moderacja). Dla mnie było to frustrujące, że gdy odpowiadasz komuś na pytanie, starasz się, testujesz rozwiązanie u siebie, a tu za 2 dni nowy temat o tym samym.

    @White Eagle: Jedyne argumenty, jakie masz, to są osobiste animozje i domniemane ambicyjki bliżej nieznanych mi osób. Nie opowiadam się po żadnej stron. Z całym szacunkiem, ale mam taką dziecinadę gdzieś! Nie zachowujmy się jak prezydent i premier, OK?
    
    Wracając do racjonalnych i poważnych argumentów: nie widzę powodu, dla którego forum.ubuntu.pl ma być TYM forum (tzn. jedynym, słusznym, kanonicznym). Tak samo nie widzę powodów, żeby ubuntu.pl było centrum informacji o Ubuntu w języku polskim. Jeżeli ktoś ma inną wizję takiego miejsca, ma motywację, by wcielić ją w życie, dostarczając przy tym użytecznych informacji innym, to nie można mu tego zabraniać. Chcesz mieć własne forum? Proszę bardzo, zakładaj choćby dziś!
    
    Poza tym dużo rozwiązań problemów znajduje się nie tylko na forach, ale np. na osobistych blogach. Bardzo wiele programów powstaje w sposób niezależny i jest publikowanych na niezależnych witrynach, ma niezależne repozytoria itp.
    
    Życie i upływ czasu zweryfikuje forum pod egidą ubucentrum.net. Cieszę się, że powstało, dziękuję za nie i życzę mu powodzenia. A sceptykom radzę po prostu tam nie zaglądać.       Nie mam nic do autora. Nie zaglądam na bloga, ani nie czytam tego forum. Mam właśnie zastrzeżenia do sposobu przedstawiania przez autora forum ubuntu.pl, braku szacunku do administracji i moderacji . Nie widzę tam merytorycznej dyskusji o forum. Czytając tu na OSNews jego newsa miałem wrażenie, że się cieszy z "krzywdy" innych. W tym przekonaniu umocnił mnie jego artykuł na ubucentrum na ten sam temat, gdzie jeszcze ukazał się jako osoba która może to naprawić
      każdy ma prawo zakładać forum, bloga, ale nie powinno to rozpoczynać się przez atak na inne forum/blog (a tak to w tym przypadku wyglądało). Pisał już o tym powyżej Ruri. Może to nie wina samego Adriana, ale innych uzytkowników/moderatorów , ale z tego co widziałem takie postępowanie jest akceptowane. Podobnie wpis w tym newsie o reklamach. Co on miał na celu?
      
      Jestem zwolennikiem konkurencji, ale w sensie kto udzieli pomoc. Jest to tylko rozdrabnianie społeczności, zamiast jej konsolidacji.
      Dlatego pisząc o tworzeniu dokumentacji nie miałem na myśli forum.ubuntu.pl . Tylko oficjalne wiki ubuntu, zaangażowanie się w działalność Ubuntu LoCoTeam Polska (wydaje mi się, że często zapomina się że coś takiego w ogóle istnieje)
      
      Jestem przeciwnikiem zakładania nowych fór, czy tworzeniu forków aplikacji, niezależnie kto to zrobi. Podobnie pisałem przy okazji newsów o założeniu nowego forum.gentoo i jeśli dobrze pamiętam forum Slacka, gdy obecne miało kłopoty z serwerem.
      
      Uwierz, o repozytoriach i programach nie musisz mi mówić. Że tak powiem mam doświadczenie w sprawach dotyczących tego aspektu otwartego oprogramowania 😉
      
      Oczywiście życzę powodzenia, ale obawiam się, że prędzej czy później i tak będzie musiała zostać wprowadzona na tym forum ostrzejsza moderacja i usuwanie postów. Choćby z powodu aby utrzymać bardziej zaawansowanych użytkowników na forum. I znów zaczną się narzekania na złych moderatorów 😉

My możemy umieścić odnośnik, jednak wątpię by zrobiło to forum.ubuntu.pl które teraz jest bez porównania bardziej rozwinięte i dla nich to właściwie żadna reklama ;).

      Ruri nie napisał, że chcemy. Czytaj ze zrozumieniem.
      Dodam od siebie tylko jedno. Wykorzystaj swoje pięć minut, bo taka szansa może więcej się nie powtórzyć. Robisz koło siebie wielki szum, lubisz być w centrum zainteresowania. Twoim celem jest oczernić, zniszczyć konkurencje. Ktoś już Ci napisał o tym, że jak chciałeś reklamować swojego bloga to umiałeś wykorzystać forum do własnych celów. Teraz najlepiej go skopać. Mimo wszystko życzę Ci powodzenia w dążeniu do celu, jednakże bądź tak dobry i nie udzielajcie porad na zasadzie " kopiuj/ wklej" z naszego forum. Przynajmniej podawajcie źródło (swoją drogą, podejrzewam, że 95% porad będzie z linkiem do www.forum.ubuntu.pl)

Tytuł powinien raczej brzmieć:
powstało KOLEJNE nieoficjalne forum ubuntu. Teraz sugeruje, że pierwsze jest oficjalnym, a w takim stwierdzeniu niewiele prawdy. Tak samo jak stwierdzenie, ze powstalo forum ubuntu sugeruje, ze wczesniej forum tej dystrybucji nie istnialo w ogole.

"Fantastycznie", że powstało kolejne forum do tego samego. Mam nadzieje, że z czasem dojdziemy do tego, ze każdy użytkownik Ubuntu będzie miał swoje forum. 🙂

  Zgodzisz się na pewno, że każdy użytkownik Ubuntu może dostosować je do własnych potrzeb i mieć w pewnym sensie swoje prywatne, unikatowe distro. W przy takich możliwościach dwa fora zamiast jednego nie powinny nikogo martwić.

Argument o przedstawianiu rozwiązania problemów na blogu poruszanych na forum nie przemawia do mnie.

A ja też chcę mieć takie forum, być adminem czy moderem. Chcę, żeby ludzie czuli przed moimi kilkoma literami respekt. Mogę założyć forum.ubuntulinux.net???

Dla mnie nowe forum to świetny pomysł. Sam miałem zamiar stworzyć alternatywne dla forum.ububtu.pl. Nie chodzi tu o to że każdy che mieć własne forum i mieć władzę. Właśnie chodzi o wręcz przeciwny cel. Moderacja na ubuntu.pl właśnie jest na poziomie bezmyślnego pokazywania władzy. Zresztą co ja mówię jaka moderacja? Przecież nie ma tam nic takiego. Nikt tam nie moderuje lecz jedynie usuwa z najbardziej błahych powodów tematy. Pod pseudo powodem "by nie zaśmiecać forum". Tylko że przecież tematy nie znikają tyko wpadają do śmietnika, wiec nie jest to wcale pozbycie się problemu lecz jego pogłębienie ponieważ serwery są i obciążane zaś kompletnie bez zasadnie. Mowa była również o odciążaniu wyszukiwarki. Cóż tylko jakoś nikt tam nie słucha argumentu że algorytm wyszukiwania który jest tam używany jest z epoki kamienia łupanego. Zaś zmiana go nie jest żadnym problemem. Co do braku moderacji przykładem jest usuwanie tematu założonego w złym dziale, każdy ma prawo się pomylić, pośpiech, zdenerwowanie (które często jest oczywiste przez występujący błąd) brak dobrej znajomości tematu (przez co właśnie się zwraca o pomoc na forum), zaś zadaniem moderatorów jest właśnie pomoc użytkownikom, jako moderator nie tylko ma odpowiadać na problemy ale przede wszystkim pomagać z problemami z obsługą forum a nie ją utrudniać. Moderator w takim przypadku powinien przenieść temat do odpowiedniego działu, w przypadku błędów w treści lub zatytułowania tematu powinien to wymoderować (z definicji moederacja jest zmianą błędu w poprawną formę nie zaś usuwaniem). Do tego jedynie poinformować użytkownika o zaistniałym kłopocie. Zaś tak to jest marnowanie czasu, zarówno użytkowników jak i samych moderatorów, skoro i tak wykrywaja błędy to poprawa ich jest niewiele większą pracą, zaś usuwaniem takim równie dobrze mógł by się zajmować bot, właśnie teraz moderatorzy na forum.ubuntu.pl działają jak proste boty nie zaś jak ludzie którzy są tam by pomagać. Jeśli nie jesteś w stanie sprostać obowiązkom to się ich nie podejmuj. Taka jest zasada w wolnym oprogramowaniu, przecież to żaden przymus.

Mam nadzieje że nowe forum nie będzie popełniało tych błędów.

  Tylko że przecież tematy nie znikają tyko wpadają do śmietnika, wiec nie jest to wcale pozbycie się problemu lecz jego pogłębienie ponieważ serwery są i obciążane zaś kompletnie bez zasadnie.

Ale śpiesz się bo po 7 dniach posty ze 'śmietnika' znikają o_O – z czego wynika że Twoje gadanie o obciążeniu serwera jest bez zasadne.

IMO forum się nie rozwinie, przypomina mi się sytuacja z forum.fedora.pl, gdzie kilku użytkowników postanowiło założyć własne forum.fedorapl.org i jak widać ruch niewielki… Oczywiście tam powody były inne, ale duża baza ubuntu.pl sprawia, że wszyscy nowi użytkownicy z google będą trafiali właśnie na to forum. Jedynym ratunkiem dla was mogło by być tworzenie mnóstwa tematów z rozwiązanymi problemami i dobrze dobranymi słowami kluczowymi, aby przejąć część ruchu z google.
