Jak donoszą Internauci, komunikator Gadu-Gadu blokuje adres WWW akcji „Stop Cenzurze”, której celem jest… przeciwstawienie się cenzury Internetu jaką pragną wprowadzić niektóre frakcje w UE.
Gdy ustawimy jako status Gadu-Gadu adres akcji: http://stopcenzurze.wikidot.com, status taki jest niewidoczny dla naszych przyjaciół. Nie wiadomo czy jest to kwestia przypadku czy celowe działanie GG Network, właściciela komunikatora.

Witam, przeczytałem o cenzurze gg i postanowiłem to sprawdzić. Spróbowałem ustawić opis z linkiem do waszej strony w komunikatorze Pidgin obsługujący protokół GG i nic z tego. Gadu-gadu blokuje link. Smutne ale prawdziwe.
Akcja „Stop Cenzurze” organizowana jest przez Grupę Jakilinux, której częścią jest serwis OSnews.pl.
Aktualnie zebraliśmy już ponad 13 tysięcy podpisów i liczba ta ciągle rośnie w niesamowitym tempie. Przed weekendem wyślemy list wraz z liczbą podpisów i linkiem do strony akcji wszystkim polskim europarlamentarzystom.

Tak, patronami. Nachalnie robię błędy tego typu, bo nie czytam co piszę, a kilkakrotnie zmieniam jedno zdanie. Wcześniej napisałem, że akcja została objęta patronatem, później zmieniłem jednak nie wszystko.
No, udało się osiągnąć to co zamierzałem. Jedynie gazeta.pl pokwapiła się napisać o sprawie (co do innych to nie wiem, może też napisali o incydencie, lecz nie odpowiedzieli na maila).

Muszę przyznać, że Infobot w opcji "tnij" też cenzuruję stronę akcji, gdyż po wpisaniu "tnij http://stopcenzurze.wikidot.com/" nic nie odpowiada, tzn. nie podaje skróconego linku.
Infobot jest własnością GG Networks, więc to chyba wspólna polityka lub wspólne blacklisty.

Też już nie korzystam z Infobota, odkąd nie mogę, bo autorzy przestali udostępniać go dla mojej sieci. Teraz mamy Teabota. Co prawda nie ma jeszcze tylu funkcji, ale autorzy zaczęli robić go dopiero niedawno, po tych głupich wykrętach autorów infobota (po co ta ściema o małej ilości użytkowników? Teraz wiadomo, że powodem było przejęcie go przez gg network) i ma już kilka opcji.
Raczej chodzi o to, że te same adresy są cenzurowane w opisach i treści wiadomości, czyli pewnie infobot nie dostaje w ogóle wiadomości z tym adresem. Można to łatwo zweryfikować wysyłając url do znajomego.
Ja napisałem do Przemysława Mugeńskiego z Dziennika Internautów, który opisał naszą akcję. Myślę, że opiszą to, bo już kiedyś zajmowali się sprawą cenzury opisów przez GG.

Ten wątek trochę nie trafia w sedno. Chodzi nie tyle o otwarte oprogramowanie, tylko o decentralizację i możliwość odpalenia własnego serwera. W XMPP jest nie tylko wolne/otwarte oprogramowanie, ale również i zamknięte.

"Grupy Jakilinux", przecież to oczywiste. Na teoriach spiskowych najwięcej zyskują ich autorzy, a zysk trwa, dopóki sprawa nie zostaje wyjaśniona. Zatem należy czekać na odpowiedź GG Network, mniej-więcej zgodną z tym, co napisał Budyń i można zacząć się śmiać z "Grupy Jakilinux". A chciałem jeszcze dodać, że rynek tabloidów mimo sporej konkurencji, jest całkiem chłonny, więc do dzieła!

A NIE MÓWIŁEM? Już się wyjaśniło, że to tylko kwestia złej definicji w filtrze, a nie celowe działanie firmy.
"Ktoś" "przypadkiem" wprowadził "złą" definicję… Zawsze można w ten sposób umyć ręce, a jak bardzo będzie trzeba to można nawet jakiegoś kozła znaleźć i go zwolnić ;]

Ponieważ duża ilość osób rozesłała link lub użyła go w opisie, został on zaklasyfikowany jako spam. Słusznie zresztą, bo jak nazwać informację o stronie internetowej (link) prezentowaną wszystkim w liście kontaktów, bez znaczenia czy sobie tego życzą czy nie…
Cel nie uświęca środków, nawet szczytne idee nie powinny być rozpowszechniane jako spam (a tak niestety trzeba nazwać masową akcję przesyłania linków do tej strony)

Ależ ja nie zwalczam programowo reklam. Faktycznie, gdybym był "antyspamowym radykałem" to musiałbym uznać linkowanie do stron domowych, lub linki do innych projektów autora (vide michuk) za przejaw spamu, który należy za wszelką cenę zwalczać. Ale rozmawiamy o systemie antyspamowym GG. Dla niego spam to duża ilość linków do tej samej strony u wielu użytkowników w opisach/rozmowach.
Po prostu relatywnie traktujemy niechcianą reklamę. Czasami uznajemy ją za "zły spam" a czasami za szczytną akcję. System komputerowy nie ma rozterek moralnych.

Właściwie po części sam sobie odpowiedziałeś. GG na rzecz spamu traciłoby część ze swoich dochodów, nikt nie hoduje konkurencji na własnym karku
Po drugie, Ty masz tylko znajomych na liście, ale pewnie jest też spore grono użytkowników, którzy mają mnóstwo osób jak leci. Gadu-gadu to nie jabber i właściwie można kogoś mieć w kontaktach z całym dobrodziejstwem inwentarza, albo nie i za każdym razem wklepywać jego numer i wyszukiwać. Niestety, ale duże projekty informatyczne muszą chronić swoich użytkowników przed ich własną głupotą i niefrasobliwością, a więc także przed spamem (pomyśl co przeżywają admini fotka.pl, biedacy, kiedyś próbowali wdrożyć jabbera jako komunikator…)
Niestety, to ich zbójeckie prawo. Ja GG nie używam od dłuższego czasu, dzięki temu śpię spokojniej
I dlatego to nie jest najlepszy ze wszystkich przykładów, chociaż jak coś wpadnie do katalogu spam który liczy tysiące wiadomości, to szukaj wiatru w polu. Ja SpamAssassina używam skonfigurowanego z Kmailem. Polecam.

owszem, mam tylko znajomych i to tylko tych z którymi w miarę często się kontaktuję. Jeśli ktoś wrzuca jak leci to jego problem, równe dobrze uciążliwe mogą być nicki lub zwykłe statusy typu "KoFfaM ciEm MIsiaCKÓ" albo pionowe opisy. Poza tym jest coś takiego jak grupy, pełnej listy nie trzeba wyswietlać. W kadu jest to nieźle zorganizowane bo grupy są w kartach.
Zauważ, że jeśli ktoś zapisuje jak leci to jest duże prawdopodobieństwo, że w ciągu dnia bedzie mu łeb zawracać conajmniej 20 osób. Czy to nie jest bardziej uciążliwe? Ja nie widze uciążliwości w linku w opisie…
Gdyby szanowne gadu gadu dbało o to aby urzytkownicy nie byli spamowani, zaimplementowaliby blokadę wyświetlania linków w komunikatorze i firewall taki jak w kadu. Obie opcje są w kadu(jako moduły), oprócz nich, zabezpieczenie przeciwko wysyłaniu dużej ilości emotek i wiadomości.
Ja z kadu bez zabezpieczeń od gg mam spokój.
Gdyby dbali o usera, zaimplementowali by blokady jako opcje w komunikator zamiast odgórnie blokować.

Tan pan polityk przeszedł chyba kurs "jak mówić przez 10 minut przekazując minimalną ilość informacji". Nie dowiedzieliśmy się z tego wystąpienia ani co pan poseł sądzi na temat pakietu, ani czym jest pakiet i jakie wynikają z niego zagrożenia, ani jak jego partia będzie głosować (ok, to może się wyjaśnić po tej konferencji).
Ale mimo wszystko trzeba zaliczyć panu plus za samo to, że wpadł na pomysł, żeby na youtube poinformować że istnieje i "coś robi".
To ostatnie zdanie nie było ironiczne, coś może tak brzmieć.
W sumie wymieniłem z nim (albo raczej stażystką w jego biurze) kilka maili i w ostatnim z nich był właśnie powyższy link, a następnie pojawił się wpis na stronie posła, a więc raczej na pewno będzie głosował na nie. GG nie blokuje konkretnie tej akcji, tylko _wszystkie_ identyczne masowo wysyłane wiadomości i ustawiane opisy. IMHO dobre rozwiązanie moderujące rozprzestrzenianie się "złych" akcji.
