Skrzynka pocztowa od Google – GMail zostaÅ‚a wyposażona w obsÅ‚ugÄ™ protokoÅ‚u IMAP.
IMAP pozwala na zarządzanie zdalne pocztą znajdującą się na serwerze. Włączenie obsługi tego protokołu było jedną z najczęstszych próśb użytkowników GMaila. Funkcjonalność jest włączana stopniowo, dlatego może jeszcze nie działać na wszystkich kontach. Na razie nie planowane jest włączenie IMAP dla osób korzystających z Google Apps we własnej domenie.

Ale gdzie w tej wiadomoÅ›ci jest napisane że dla GAFYD nie jest planowane uruchomienie IMAPa? Ja niczego takiego nie znalazÅ‚em, natrafiÅ‚em za to na: http://www.google.com/a/help/intl/en/users/gmail…. gdzie jak wóÅ‚ stoi że Google Apps for Your Domain ma obsÅ‚ugÄ™ IMAPa. OsobiÅ›cie nie mam jeszcze imapa ani na gmailu ani na gafyd wiÄ™c niczego nie mogÄ™ potwierdzić.
